Hazen S. Dennis (June 22, 1896 – June 26, 1970) was the son of John Byam and 
Adelia Ann (Lee) Dennis.  Hazen’s first wife was Mary Elizabeth (Osgerby) 
Dennis (April 28, 1896 – September 23, 1960), the daughter of Miles M. and 
Kezia “Kitty” (Caldwell) Osgerby.  Hazen and Mary had no children.  Hazen 
remarried on December 1, 1964; his second wife was Ida (Schneider) Dennis (June 
22, 1897 – January 1986.

Buried on this lot are Hazen S. Dennis, his first wife Mary (Osgerby) Dennis, 
her sister Beulah (Osgerby) Chadwick, and Mary and Beulah’s parents Miles and 
Kezia Osgerby.  In addition to the military marker for Hazen, there is also 
tombstone that bears inscriptions for Hazen and Mary Dennis and Beulah Chadwick 
on one side, and inscriptions for Miles and Kezia Osgerby on the other side.
