John Joseph Osgerby (April 3, 1854 – December 1908) was the son of John Thomas 
Osgerby and his second wife Elizabeth H. “Betsy” (Gaunt) Osgerby.  John 
married Lois Isabella “Belle” (Slafter) Osgerby (August 10, 1855 – December 
11, 1926), daughter of Adoniram J. “Judson” and Fannie (Rogers) Tice Slafter. 
John and Belle had five children:  Joseph Slafter Osgerby, who never married; 
Lena May Osgerby, who married Glen O. Baker; Harry G. Osgerby, who died at the 
age of nine months; Clark White Osgerby, who married Margaret Marie Larrabee; 
and Clare Osgerby, who died when less than a year old.
