This is to certify that John L. Miller aged 26 years of the town of Tuscola, Tuscola County 
and State of Michigan, and Julia A. Whitman aged 28 of the Town of Pavillion, Genesee county, 
and State of New York, were by me joined in Matrimony according to the laws of the State of 
Michigan, on the Twenty sixth day of October one thousand eight hundred and sixty one, at Arbela, Michigan.

I joined in Marriage George H.M. Shriber of Ellington in the State of Michigan and Mary A. Court 
of Almer, State of Michigan after having ascertained that they were of sufficient age to contract 
to the same, that the partiies did then and there solemnly declare that they took each other as 
husband and wife and that there were present as witnesses William M. Shriber and Joseph Bata.
