I do hereby certify that on this tenth day of November at Millington in the State of 
Michigan did join together in Holy Wedlock David N. Doff of Millington, Tuscola County 
aged thirty years and Catharine Dixon of Loudon Canada West aged 21 years in the presence 
of two witnesses to wit William H. Doff of Millington aforesaid and John B. Franklin of 
Millington aforesaid.  In testimony whereof I have set my hand this tenth day of November AD 1861.

I do hereby certify that on the 29th day of November instant at my office in the said 
town Hak tah ke cooris of said town and He wa je wah no que of the same place were with 
their mutual consent lawfully joined together in holy matrimony, which was solemnized by 
me in the presence of Ira C. Hibbie and John Cassia attesting witnesses; And I do further 
certify that I ascertained previous to the solenization of the said marriage that the said 
parties were of sufficient age to contract the same and that after due inquiry by me made 
there aforesaid no lawful impediment to such marriage.  Given under my hand this 29th day 
of November AD 1861.
