This is to certify that Levi M. Hoyt aged 18 years, of Arbela, Tuscola County and 
State of Michigan, and Miranda Bertam aged 15 years, of Arbela, Tuscola County, 
and State of Michigan, were by me joined in Matrimony according to the laws of 
the State of Michigan, on the twenty fourth day of December one thousand eight 
hundred and sixty two, at Arbela.

I certify that on the eight day of April AD 1861 at Arbela in the County aforesaid, 
I joined in marriage John McDonald of Genesee Co.in the State of Michigan aged 24 
years, and Jane Maria Vannest of Tuscola Co. in the State of Michigan, aged twenty 
three years, that the parties did them and there solemnly declare that they took 
each other as Husband and Wife and that there were present as Witnesses Lovira Thompson 
of Arbela and George Thompson of Arbela, Tuscola Co. Mich.

Dated at Arbela this eight day of April AD 1861.
