This is to certify that James A. Wright, aged thirty five years of the Township of 
Fairgrove, Tuscola County and State of Michigan, and Susan O. Houghtaling of the town, 
county, and state aforesaid, aged sixteen y ears, were by me joined in matrimony 
according to the laws of the State of Michigan the seventh day of December one 
thousand eight hundred and sixty two at the house of John Houghtaling.

Saginaw County and State of Michigan were by me joined in matrimony, according to 
the laws of the State of Michigan on the Twenty eight day of January, one thousand 
eight hundred and sixty three, at Arbela, Tuscola Co., Michigan.
