I certify that on the 21st day of June 1863 at Fairgrove in the County aforesaid I, 
James Surine a Minister of the Gospel, joined in Marriage William H. Hamilton of Juniata 
in the State of Michigan aged 23 years, & Mary Jane Burlingame of Fairgrove, State and 
County aforesaid, aged 16 years, and the parties did then and there solemnly declare that 
they took each other as Husband & Wife, and Wm. H. and Elizabeth ann Burlingame both of Fairgrove 
were present as witnesses.

were by me joined in matrimony according to the laws of the State of Michigan, on the thirtieth 
day of June one thousand eight hundred and sixty three, at Vassar.
