This is to certify that on the third day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand 
eight hundred and sixty three, before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace 
within and for the County of Tuscola, and town of Koylton, George Smith aged twenty three 
years of the town of Rich and County of Lapeer, farmer, and Clarinda Hubble of this place 
aged fifteen years, were joined in marriage, they declaring themselves clear of all engagements, 
and taking each other for husband and wife, according to the law.  In witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and seal at Koylton aforesaid the day and year above written.

I do hereby certify that I did this day join in holy marriage Alanson A. Smith of Juniata, 
Tuscola County and State of Michigan aged 23 years and Emily Shultz of the same place aged 
16 years, and there was present as witnesses Freman Smith and Calvin Edgar, both of the 
town, County, and State aforesaid.
