This is to certify that Townsend North aged 50 years of the Village of Vassar, and State 
of Michigan, and Miss Celia Gibson aged 25 years of the Village aforesaid, and State of 
Michigan were by me joinedin matarimony according to the laws of the State of Michigan, 
on the twenty sixth day of January one thousand eight hundred and sixty five at Juniata.  
In the presence of J. Colman & Robert Butler.

I certify that on the fourteenth day of January AD 1865 at Arbela in the County aforesaid 
I Edward Gunnell joined in marriage Hiram L. Pierce of Bay City in the State of Michigan 
aged t hirty two years, and Sarah D. Warran of Arbela in the State of Michigan aged twenty 
eight years, that the parties did then and there solemnly declare that the took each other 
as Husband and Wife, and that there were present as witnesses John Gunnell of Arbela and 
Mary A. Gunnell of Arbela.  Dated at Arbela this 14th day of January AD 1865.
