This is to certify that Samuel C. Newton aged 25 years of the town of Arbela, Tuscola 
County & State of Michigan, and Rowena B. Stone aged 17 years of Arbela, Tuscola County 
& State of Michigan, were by me joinedin Matrimony according to the laws of the State of 
Michigan on the 26th day of December one thousand eight hundred and sixty four at Arbela.  
In the presence of Selah Wilcox and Laticios Newton.

laws of the State of Michigan.
