by me joined in matrimony, according to the laws of the State of Michigan, on the 
thirtieth of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & sixty five at 
Watrousville, Tuscola Co., Michigan.

that the parties did then and there solemnly declare that they took each other as Husband & Wife, 
and that there were present as witnesses Stillman Robertson of Dayton, Tuscola Co. Mich. and Ann 
Jane Robertson of Dayton, Tuscola Co. Mich.
