I certify that on the fifth day of August AD 1865 at Pine Grove in the county aforesaid, 
I, Wm. T. Rose, Minister of the Gospel, joined in marriage Morrison E. Murphy of Houston 
in the State of Texas aged forty years and Hannah M. Bond of Pine Run in the State of Michigan 
aged thirty years; that the parties did then solemnly declare that they took each other as 
husband and wife and that there were present as witnesses Truman Curtis of Pine Grove and 
Barbara Curtis of Pine Grove, Michigan.

Dated at Pine Grove this fifth day of August AD one thousand eight hundred and sixty five.
