This is to certify that Orson Higley aged 33 y ears of Tuscola County and State of 
Michigan and Lorrettia M. Coe aged 19 years of Tuscola County and State of Michigan, 
were by me joined in matrimony according to the laws of the State of Michigan on the 
ninth day of May 1866 at Tuscola village.

and the State of Michigan, and Mary Augusta Luce aged 16 years of Fairgrove, Tuscola 
County and State of Michigan, were by me joined in matrimony according to the laws of 
the State of Michigan on the eighth day of March one thousand eight hundred and sixty 
six at the bride's father's house in Fairgrove.
