On the 31st day of January 1866 in the town of Arbela, County of Tuscola and State of 
Michigan, Abner Johnson of Birch Run, Saginaw County and Elizabeth Ann Ruso of Fairgrove, 
Tuscola County were married by me.

Alvin Gurney and Matthew Truman of Arbela were present as witnesses.

Given under my hand at Arbela the 31st day of January 1866.

This is to certify that I have this day united in marriage at their mutual request and 
with their mutual consent Russel King, Farmer, of the Township of Kingston, Tuscola County, 
State of Michigan aged 21 years and Phebe Jane Peasley, Seamstress, of the same place 
aged sixteen years.

Signed this third day of March, one thousand eight hundred and sixty six.
