This is to certify that Mr. Stephen Newton aged 22 years of Eaton, Washtenaw County 
and State of Michigan and Miss Ermaina C. Butler aged 17 years of Juniata, Tuscola 
County and State of Michigan, were by me joined in matrimony according to the laws
of the State of Michigan on the ninth day of October 1866 at Juniata in the presence 
of Mrs. Mary E.  Newton and Mr. R.G. Butler.

marriage at Watrousville according to the laws of the State of Michigan on the 18th day 
of November AD 1866.  In the presence of Theophilus Baldwin and Ester Hull.
