This is to certify that on the sixth day of December AD 1866, before me the subscriber 
one of the Justices of the Peace within and for the County of Tuscola, John S. Wright 
of the Township of Elkland in said County and Chestina Canfield of the same place were 
joined in marriage they declaring themselves clear of all engagements or other lawful 
impediments and taking each other for husband and wife according to the law.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at Elkland aforesaid the day 
and year above written.  Witnesses A.N. Hatch and M. Canfield.

This is to certify that Sedgwick J. Martin aged 21 years of Vassar, Tuscola County and 
State of Michigan and Eliza M. Ferguson aged 14 years of Millington, Tuscola County 
and State of Michigan were by me joined in matrimony according to the laws of the State 
of Michigan on the sixth day of October AD 1866 at Millington in the presence of 
Henry McPherson and Harrison Ransom.
