This is to certify that Alexander Courtright aged 32 years of Akron, Tuscola County and 
State of Michigan and Louisa Roworth aged 24 years of Columbia, Tuscola County and State 
of Michigan were by me joinedin marriage according to the Laws of the State of Michigan 
on the thirty first day of December one thousand eight hundred and sixty six at the house 
of John Courtright in said Township of Akron.

I, E.C. Pulsipher, Justice of the Peace of the County of Tuscola in the State of Michigan 
do hereby certify that on the 4th day of May AD 1856 at the Township of Rogers in said 
county Hiram Allen of the Township of Indian Fields in said County aged twenty nine years 
and Charity Huntly of the Township of Rogers aged twenty years were married by me and that 
they were personally known to me to be the person above described and that King Allen of 
Rogers and J.B. Wilbur of Fairgrove were present as witnesses at the said marriage and 
that after due enquiry made there appeared no lawful impediment to the said marriage.

Given under my hand the 4th day of May 1856.
