This is to certify that James M. Jones aged 22 years of Denmark, Tuscola County and State 
of Michigan and Charlotte Hall aged 28 years of Denmark Tuscola County and State of Michigan 
were by me joined in Matrimony according to the laws of the State of Michigan on the twenty 
third day of December one thousand eight hundred and sixty six at Denmark.  In the presence 
of Perry Y. Johnson [and] Roxna Johnson.

I certify that on the 25th day of December AD 1866 at Wells in the County aforesaid 
I, C.B Mills, Minister of the Gospel, joined in marriage Gilbert Hurd of Dayton in the 
State of Michigan aged 24 years and Margret Ann Bellamy of Wells in the State of Michigan 
aged 18 years that the parties did then and there solemnly declare that they took each 
other as husband and wife and that there were present as witnesses Lorenzo Hurd of
 Dayton and Julius Hurd of Dayton.

Dated at Wells this 25th day of December AD one thousand eight hundred and sixty six.
