I do hereby certify that on the first day of January AD 1867 at the House of Hiram Durham 
in said county and State of Michigan Silas E. Durham of Redford, County of Wayne in said 
State and Alma S. Ferry of Tuscola to me personally known to be the persons described in 
this certificate were by me joined together with their mutual covenant in the bonds of 
wedlock and I did first assertain that there was no lawful reason why such marriage should 
not be consumated, said Marriage to[ok] place in presence of Hiram Durham and Permelia Durham.

I hereby certify that Samuel A. Montague of the Township of Almer in the County and State 
above written of the age of thirty two years and Miss Isabel Tennant of the same place of 
the age of thirty one years were lawfully joined together in Marriage by me a Minister of 
the Gospel in the State aforesaid at the residence of Alexander Tennant in the Township, 
County and State aforesaid ont the twenty fourth day of December AD 1866, in presence of 
Charles Montague and William Tennant, both of the village of Centerville, county and State 
aforesaid.
