This is to certify that on the seventeenth day of March in the year of our Lord one 
thousand eight hundred and sixty seven before me the subscriber one of the Justices 
of the Peace within and for the County of Tuscola Amanuel Leonhart of the Town of 
Elkland in said County and Manerva Wells of the same place were joined in marriage 
they declaring themselves clear of all engagements or other lawfull impediments and 
taking each other for husband and wife according to law in witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and seal at Elkland aforesaid the day and year above written
