This certifies that William Putnam of the Township of Wells, County of Tuscola & State of 
Michigan being about twenty nine years of age, and Mary Chambers of the same place, aged 
about seventeen  years, were united in Matrimony by me on the third day of July AD 1860 
in the Township of Wells aforesaid, agreeably to the Laws of the State of Michigan in the 
presence of Dennis Harmon of Dayton, Tuscola County, Michigan, John E. Voorheis of Wells, 
County and State aforesaid.

Given under my hand this fifth day of July AD 1860.

aged seventeen years of the Town of Almer of the County of Tuscola in the State of Michigan 
were united together in Holy Matrimony on the 4th day of June one thousand eight hundred and sixty.
