to Mahalia Brate of the age of sixteen years, both of the township of Fairgrove 
on the 23rd day of June 1861 by me in presence of

Phoebe Mead

Received for Record July 8th AD 1861 at 2 O'clock pm - F. Bourne, Clerk

This is to certify that Francis Fornia of East Saginaw Mich. aged 26, and 
Phoebe Mead of the above named place aged 20 years were with their mutual 
consent lawfully joined together in holy matrimony which was solemnized by 
me at the residence of James McPherson in the township of Tuscola on the 29th 
day of June AD 1861 in the presence of A.P. Mead and Amelia Johnson witnesses thereto.

Given under my hand at Tuscola this 1st day of July AD 1861.
