H. Wooldridge Taken By Death William Henry Wooldridge, of Lake avenue, died last night at 10:30 o'clock at Mercy hospital following an illness with pneumonia. The remains were taken to the Dean mortuary. Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending word from relatives. Mr. Wooldridge was born February 8, 1910 at South Haven." The next day this same paper contained this: "Pay Last Respects To W. H. Woolbridge Funeral services for the late William Henry Woolbridge, 249 Lake avenue, were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock from Dean mortuary, the Rev. Elizabeth Buckland officiating. Miss Ethel Likes sang and Mrs. H. W. Fowler presided at the organ. Casket bearers were William Hensley, Bartley Bell, Carol Holts, Dwight Mendenhall, Robert Price and Kenneth King. Burail was at South Haven." The paper misspelled the last name on the second day. It should have been Wooldridge not Woolbridge.
