Age 47, died Friday morning, May 22, 1998 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital with her
family at her side. She was born January 24, 1951 at Beyer Hospital the daughter
of James H. and Dorothy L. (Leonard) Harless and grew up in the Ann
Arbor/Ypsilanti area, attending  Pioneer High School with the class of 1969.
Survivors include her husband, Theo Desfosses, whom she married on April 19,
1985, her parents  James and Dorothy Harless of Ypsilanti, two sisters; Anna
Harless-Snyder of Ann Arbor, Jo Anne (Mark) Bacheldor of Dearborn, MI, one
brother, James A. (Jenifer) Harless of Ypsilanti, MI, several nieces, nephews,
grandnieces, and grandnephews, parents-in-law Yvon and Colombe Desfosses of
Cincinnati, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the
American Cancer Society, 2385 S. Huron Parkway, Ste. 102, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
Envelopes are available at NIE FUNERAL HOME 2400 Carpenter Rd. where the family
will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday, May 26, 1998. Funeral services
will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at
Alban Cemetery.
