Liberty Street. Born 3 Mar 1827 in Unter-Ensingen, O.A. Neurtingen, Kingdom of Wuerttemburg, Germany Emigrated to America in 1854 where she came to Ann Arbor. Married Christian Jenter, a grieving widower, on 8 July 1854, Pastor F. Schmid performed the ceremony. Seven children were born to the couple, 5 sons and 2 daughters. One son, their first, Christian born in 1856 died in 1860. Other children who attended funeral were Heinrich, Ernst, Elise, Emilie and Christian Gottlieb. Oldest son Herman was travling at the time of his mothers death and could not be reached. Anna had suffered a sun stroke 12 years before her death. Anna was a member of Bethlehem Church where her funeral on 1 May 1894 was officiated by Pastor Neuman who gave the scripture Psalm 16 verse 2 in his sermon, with a large attendance.
