Catherine Martiny, was born on March 30, 1921 in France, and died on May 15, 
2004 at home in Dexter.  She retired from Ford Motor Company.
Survivors include her children, a sister, eight grandchildren and several 
nieces and nephews and many friends. Her husband, parents, and six siblings 
preceded her in death. 
Cremation has taken place.  A memorial mass is planned at St. Dominic's 
Catholic Church on May 21, 2004 with visitation preceding the mass.  Interment 
will be in Riverside Cemetery, Clinton.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Mercy Hospice of Ann Arbor or 
St.Louis Center of Chelsea.
