Mrs. Mary Jane Murray, 83, widow of the late Charles Murray, and a former Ann 
Arbor resident, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Murphy at 
232 S. Heidt St., Detroit.

She had resided in Ann Arbor most of her life, going to Detroit six years ago. 
She was born in Long Island, N.Y., Dec. 26, 1853.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Murphy of Detroit, Mrs. Jay Warren and 
Mrs. Clarence Cobb, both of Ann Arbor; a son, William B. Murray of Dexter; a 
daughter-in-law, Mrs. Hazel Murray of Ann Arbor; 14 grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Muelig funeral 
chapel with Rev. M. S. Axtell of the Leitch Memorial Presbyterian church of 
Detroit officiating. Interment will be made in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may 
call at the chapel.
