Salem, Nov. 27 - William Sheffield, a resident of Salem many years ago and very 
highly respected, passed away at his home in Laingsberg, Sunday, after a short 
illness, at the age of 88 years. His funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the 
funeral home in Laingsberg. Relatives attending were Mrs. Mertie Murray of 
Plymouth and Mr. and Mrs. George Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rich and Mr. and 
Mrs. Glenn Lyke of Salem.
