Ann Arbor News 10 Mar 1971
Mrs. Minnie L. Washington, age 71 passed away Tuesday at St. Joseph Mercy 
hospital after a long illness.  She was born January 22, 1900 in Due West, 
South Carolina the daughter of Edward and Amelia Abrams Jones.  Mrs Washington 
had been an Ann Arbor resident since 1942.  She was a member of Bethel AME 
Church.  Survivers include a daughter, Miss Allene Washington of Ann Arbor: 
five nieces; two nephews; many great nieces and nephews. ... Burial will 
follow in United Memorial Gardens...
