COMBS,CLIFFORD C., of Ortonville formerly of Roseville and Maple City. Age 71, 
January 2, 1999. Beloved husband of Evelyn. Dear father of Clay C. (Jenny) 
Combs of Clarkston. Brother of Karen Keck of Imlay City and Robert (Ann) Combs 
of Greenbush. Grandfather of Christopher, Chad and Heather. Mr. Combs, a World 
War Two Veteran, retired from Michigan Consolidated Gas in 1982 after 33 years 
of service. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday from the Sherman Wilk 
Funeral Home, 135 South St. Ortonville Pastor James R. McCoy officiation. 
Interment in Ortonville Cemetery. Mr. Combs will lie Instate at the funeral 
home Sunday 12 Noon until 9 PM. Memorial donations may be given to the Hospice 
of SE Michigan. envelops available at the funeral home.
