JOHNSON,FRANTZ "GENE" 85. Passed away January 1, 1999 at Friendship Village of 
Columbus, Ohio. Born in Shelby, Iowa to the late Edgar and Bula (Andrews) 
Johnson. Resident of Dearborn, MI for 55 years, he moved to Columbus, OH in 
September 1995. He retired from Rockwell International where he was Chief 
Metallurgist. He was a member of SAE and CIT (Cafeteria Institute of 
Technology). Preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, daughter Kay, and son 
Charles. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law James and Shirley; 
grandchildren Diane of Dearborn, MI, Jim (Jennifer) of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; and 
sister-in-law Audrey Saemann of Waldo, Wisconsin. Interment will be in Waldo, 
Wisconsin. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be 
sent to the American Cancer Society, 29350 Southfield Rd., Suite 110, Howard 
Office Plaza, Southfield, MI 48076. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger North 
Chapel, Columbus, Ohio.
