'Last' Civil War Widow Dies
Grosse Point Woods (AP) - Funeral services were held today for a woman 
believed to have been Michigan's last Civil War widow.
Buried today in Woodmere Cemetery was Marie S. Keil, who was 97 when she died 
Sunday in a nursing home.  She had remarried since the death in 1908 of her 
husband Edward F. Lee.  She continued to receive a Civil War pension and my 
have been the last in the nation, according to James A. Davey. 81, who kept 
many Civil War personal records.
