Thomas J. Madlen
   Thomas J. Madlen, for many years prominent in the structural engineering 
field in this country, Canada and South America, will be buried in Cleveland.  
He died here Thursday at the age of 74 years.  
He was active in Masonic circles in Cleveland and recently had been the Detroit 
representative of the Oskosh Millwork Co.  
He is survived by his wife, Sue Madlen, of Cleveland and two children.
