S. January 6, 2009, 12:20 am Detroit Free Press, June 6, 1936, Pg. 21 Edward J. Maloney The Rev. Gilbert Appelhof, of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, will conduct the services for Edward J. Maloney, of 4837 in the Hillsboro Ave., in the Ferguson Funeral Home, 6142 W. Fort Street, at 2:30 pm Saturday. Burial will be in Woodmere Cemetery. Mr. Maloney died Wednesday in Grace Hospital from injuries suffered in an accident at the New Center Recreation, E.Grand Blvd and Woodward Ave. He was 46 years old and a native of Detroit. He was a plumbing, heating and welding contractor. In the World War he served as a corporal and was a member of the American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Vesper B., two children, Buster and Jean; four brothers, William, John, Thomas and Harold, and three sisters, Julia K., Mrs. Nellie Beaulieu and Mrs. Howard Enell.
