TOOK CARBOLIC ACID
A Detroit Baker Drank Some and Died in Agony
Detroit, Mich., July 3 - Michael Murrihy of 70 Cherry street took carbolic 
acid at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon and died within an hour.  He had been 
feeling ill since Sunday and was out of his head as the result of a sunstroke 
received thast day.  In some way he procured a quantity of carbolic acid and 
drank it.  He was found a little later lying in the fence corner.

A doctor was immediately sent for, but Murrihy was past recovery.  He was 
about 50 years old and leaves a widow the three children.
