He had been feeling ill since Sunday and was out of his head as the result of a sunstroke received thast day. In some way he procured a quantity of carbolic acid and drank it. He was found a little later lying in the fence corner. A doctor was immediately sent for, but Murrihy was past recovery. He was about 50 years old and leaves a widow the three children.
