William L. Thorp

Services for William L. Thorp, attorney for the Detroit & Wayne County 
Federation of Labor, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the William R. 
Hamilton Co. Chapel, 3975 Cass.  Services will be under the auspices of 
Detroit Commandery No. 1 Knights Templar.  Mr. Thorp died yesterday ay his 
home, 543 Vernier, Grosse Pointe Woods.  He had practiced law here since 1919 
when he graduated from the Detroit College of Law.  His office was in the 
Lawyers Building.  His wife, Beatrice, and four children, Mrs. Patricia 
Baggott and William, Willis and Donna Thorp survive.
