It reads "Myron 1822- 1905". Please see the site for Debbe Otis Coon for the larger marker. Myron and Debbe were husband and wife. Myron's family was prominent in early Michigan history. He was born May 26, 1822 in Ontarion Co., New York, to Baltus Coon and Margaret TenEyck Coon. He moved to Redford, MI with his family in 1831, and Settled in Greenfield, Michigan, in 1857. He served as a deputy sheriff and commissioner of highways. His occupation in census and death records is listed as "farmer". Myron died April 5, 1905.
