b. 29 Sep 1835, d. 9 May 1915, h/o Amelia

(I believe George served during the Civil War. Enlisted Dec. 15, 1862, res. 
Redford MI, age 26. Co. H (transferred to Co. I) 1st Cav. Reg't of MI. 
Promoted to Full Lieutenant 1st Class on Oct. 2, 1863. Discharged Jul 21, 
1865. There is no military marker on his grave. Also on marker: Wight, Wallace 
W.)
