Michele Privett-Brown took this picture of her mother's tombstone in September 
2007.
Betty Lee Kirby-Privett was born in Hopewell, Virginia on September 27, 1926 
and died on July 26, 1988 - from complications of diabetes.  She was the 
daughter of Luther Herbert Kirby and Viola Elizabeth Hancock-Kirby.  She was 
the youngest of their 7 children.
Betty lived in Riverview, Michigan since the early 1950's and was married to 
Wilburn Privett.  He preceded her in death on November 19, 1972.  They had 7 
children together.  

Additional Comments:
Buried beside Betty are her husband Wilburn who died of a heart attack and her 
daughter Sharon Ann Privett-Nagarajan - who died of lung cancer on January 14, 
1995.   There are six plots, with 3 occupied and 3 vacant as of July 25, 2010.
