Samuel is buried in the Mount Hazel Cemetery. This is on Lahser Road, just 
South of 7 Mile in Redford, Wayne County, Michigan. His son Thomas and Thomas' 
wife Mary, are also buried there. His grandson and his wife, Charles Thomas 
and Eliza Hill Sturman are also buried there. This cemetery must have been 
close to where they lived. His headstone reads:

Samuel Sturman
Died May 1, 1874
Aged 85 years
STURMAN, Samuel died May 1, 1874 "aged 85yrs"
