Thomas and his wife Mary are buried in the Mount Hazel Cemetery. This is on 
Lahser Road, just South of 7 Mile in Redford, Wayne County, Michigan. His 
father Samuel Sturman is also buried there. His nephew and his wife, Charles 
Thomas and Eliza Hill Sturman are also buried there. This cemetery must have 
been close to where they lived. Their headstone reads:

Thomas Sturman
1824 - 1904 
Mary A. Sturman
1830 - 1897
