Born: Zophia Maria Gliwska to Polish Imigrants - Peter Gliwski & Aniela Jaworek

Loving wife of 45 years to the late Chester J. Witkowski. Dear mother of Paul 
& Nancy. Beloved grandmother of Amy & Ryan Witkowski, sister of Joseph and the 
late Stella Bolcon of Fall River, MA.

Sophie served in the US Navy as Hospital Apprentice 2nd Class during WW II. 
After the war she earned her Beautician's license with funds from the GI bill. 
After her marriage she moved to Detroit where she worked as a Beautician and 
later at Sears Roebuck Stores until retirement in 1981.

Until her illness, she enjoyed traveling with the Redford Seniors and taking 
chances at the slots.
