McKenna in 1875 Three son - Louis J., Everett W, Roy Edward. Frank Pingree, a member of the Pingree Shoe Manufacturing family started in the business after schooling as a young apprentice to the shoemaker's trade. His capabilities led him into supervision over the entire manufacturing interest of the firm. When his brother, Governor Hazen Pingree, founder of the famous shoe manufacturing company died, he took over full responsibility of the business and after his death the company continued as the F.C. Pingree Sons Company, run by his sons Everett and Roy.
