Cemetery Address: Manton, MI 49663 ----------------------------------------- "MANTON Richard Hyman of Edmonds, Wash., formerly of Mesick, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2002. He was 81. Mr. Hyman was born on July 29, 1921 in Detroit. He served in the Pacific on the USS Randolph during World War II. He married Margaret Geukes on Aug. 26, 1950 in Mesick. He was a long-time teacher and taught math at Edmonds Community College for 24 years. Mr. Hyman was a member of the Ronald United Methodist for 43 years and was active in the Shoreline Lions Club for 41 years. Services are Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Mesick United Methodist Church with Rev. John Conklin officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Township Cemetery with military graveside services by the Manton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7806. Visitation is at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elevator Fund at the Ronald United Methodist Church. Arrangements were made by the Hall Funeral Chapel in Manton."
