(Weaver) Lumbert of Cadillac died Monday, June 28, 2004 at her home. She was 71. She was born on Sept. 5, 1932 in Mesick, the daughter of Floyd and Jessie (Jones) Weaver. She married Raymond J. Lumbert on Aug. 21, 1948 in Marilla. Mrs. Lumbert graduated with the Cadillac High School Class of 1970. For many years she worked as a nurse for Dr. Carlton Tyrell in Manton. She enjoyed restoring antiques, working in her rock gardens, listening to music and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Raymond J.; brothers, Donald, Harrison, Evan and Carl Weaver; and sister, Eileen Knapp. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Jewett officiating. Burial is in Antioch Cemetery in Mesick. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lumbert family.
