She was 90. She was born on Dec. 31, 1915 in Mesick to Nelson Aaron and Olive May (Bulock) Spencer. She married Melville Overla, who preceded her in death in 1975. Mrs. Overla was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church in Olivet. In addition to her husband, Melville, she was preceded in death by her sister, Crystal Armstrong in 2006. Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at the Sherman Gospel Hall in Sherman. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Wexford County. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, 518 S. Main, Eaton Rapids, and 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
