She was 91. She was born Dec. 3, 1910 in Antioch Township to James and Vielena (Stuckey) Taylor. Mrs. Tuthill had been employed at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac as well as Kelleys Restaurant and Bills Waterfront Restaurant. She was a housewife and mother. She had lived in this area all her life and on South LaChonce Road for 55 years. Survivors include her son, Peter Thiebaut and his fianceé, Lori of Cadillac; daughters, Ellen Taylor of Manton, Wanetta (John) Abshire of Cedar Springs and Eva (Charles) Black of Lafayette, Ind.; brother, Paul Taylor of Mesick; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters; son, Archie Harper; and husband, Maurice Tuthill in 1981. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Young Funeral Home with Major Daniel Hursh officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Township Cemetery, near Mesick. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Michigan. Envelopes are available at Young Funeral Home."
