She was 67. She was born March 2, 1936 in Sheldon, Wis. to Eugene D. and Edna (Rocksted) Wetzig. She married Leroy N. Roderick on Nov. 19, 1955 in Colfax Township. Mrs. Roderick was a member of the Manton Baptist Church where she played the piano and the organ. She also taught Sunday school. Survivors include her husband, Leroy; children, Dorathy (Edward) Heid of Fife Lake, Valerie (Terry) Drown of Manton, Kevin Roderick of Orlando, Fla., Bobbie (Ralph) Johnigan of Manton, Jeffrey (Deanna) Roderick of Alexandria, Minn., Joel (Kimberly) Roderick of Woodstock, Ga. and Philip (Naoko) Roderick of Manton; mother, Edna Wetzig of Manton; brothers, David (Nancy) Wetzig, Floyd Wetzig and Nathan (Laurissa) Wetzig all of Manton; sisters, Sharon (Alfred) Taylor of Manton, Pam (Tom) Henry of Lake City and Kathy (Kevin) Lytle of Cadillac; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene in 1995. Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Manton Baptist Church with Revs. Dan Hemmes and Joseph Hilyard officiating. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Manton Baptist Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Manton. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Geraldine Roderick. Arrangements were made by the Hall Funeral Chapel in Manton.
