OBITUARY - "St Cloud Journal Press." Thursday November 3, 1887 Mr. George W Anderson was on of the early settlers of Brockway, he having located there in 1856 died on Friday at Watab, Benton County, aged sixty-seven years. Mr. Anderson was apparently quite well until just before his death and was up and about, but at one o'clock was stricken by apoplexy and died very suddenly. He leaves a widow and four sons and two daughters, all grown. The date of George locating in Watab has to be a typo as the family was still in PA in 1870 and do not appear in the Minnesota census until 1880. More likley they located circa 1875 as daughter Sarah (Sadie) married in 1878 in Sartell.
