OBITUARY -" St Cloud Daily Times," Thursday April 7, 1898... AT AN OLD AGE, Death of Mrs. Charlotte Andersen, Who Passed Away at Watab Last Night....Mrs. Charlotte Andersen, age 70, died at the home of her son, Joseph Andersen, in the town of Watab, Benton County at 8:45 last night. She leaves two daughters and five sons, all of these in and about Watab except Mrs. Freeman Leopard, who resides in Melrose. The deceased was a woman of most excellent traits and her demise will be mourned by a large circle of friends. The funeral will take place on Saturday, at one o'clock in the afternoon. My Note: Anderson is spelled Andersen in this article. All other records give the spelling as Anderson.
